Project Description and Impact
Our crowdfunding platform targets the East African market and has now become the largest crowdfunding platform in Africa. Growth has predominantly been by word of mouth and the platforms reach is mostly in Nairobi, Kenya. To support a wider audience, we seeking an Experteering with a background in digital marketing to help us increase our presence and help more individuals, organisations, and businesses to raise funds effectively.
The majority of our fundraising activity goes directly towards medical expenses since health insurance and public services are minimal across the region. As a result, funds raised are directly impacting most pressing community needs. Other types of fundraising include school fees, funeral costs, and community fundraisers.
