Project Description and Impact

Our goal is to make available the best solar lighting products to people living in and around rural areas where there is no electricity. We are seeking an Experteer with experience in public relations, communications, and marketing. The Experteer will help us map out a strategy to build awareness of our work and supplement current marketing and advertising efforts. We want to raise awareness of our work both internationally and in-country.

Generally, for households that use our technology see:

Monthly saving of $12-$14 dollars
Increased home security (walking at night)
Increased travel security (to neighbours / latrine if they have one)
Improved ease of undertaking household duties (can see what they are cooking, watch for snakes, scorpions and spiders)
Daily light use increase of 3 hours
Improved quality of life and ease of mind
