Social Impact Project for Accounting Experteer to Support a Nonprofit Providing Youth Services

Project Description and Impact

Our nonprofit is still in its startup phase. At the moment, we are securing funding to run our programs as well as working with local government officers to bring awareness and resources to our organization. We work to provide proper tools and resources to prevent youth violence and promote safe spaces free of bullying, drugs, addiction, and violence.

Free services provided to people aged between 15 and 26 will include support groups and trauma-informed curriculum, wellness workshops, financial and housing services, and educational and employment services. Services are intended to help youth resist peer-pressure, build self-esteem and become positive leaders. Within five years, there is a goal of providing free therapy sessions provided by licensed therapists as well as a housing program for youth in desperate need of a safe place to call ‘home’.
