Project Description and Impact
The ANDE India chapter is the only ANDE chapter that is undertaking the implementation of the environmental and climate action lab, allowing for the chapter to deepen its engagement and activity in the sector. The Action Lab will be an extension of the existing Environment and Climate Learning Lab and will bring together a group of 15 practitioners who will undergo a design thinking process to ideate and create an innovative solution that will help bridge a key gap in the ecosystem.
In terms of the sectoral mapping, as well as the mapping of events, investors and key stakeholders – these exercises will help us have a ‘ready reckoner’ list that the chapter can refer to as we engage in daily chapter programming to help identify key contacts to leverage and connect. The investor list also allows us to curate and update lists that will be relevant to share as and when intermediaries seek support for their respective SGB portfolios.
Given that the chapter consists of 2 full-time staff and one intern, and is looking to actively understand how to expand its presence in the region (both breadth and depth of impact), the support provided by the volunteer will be pivotal to this regard.
